NEW!! - AAII Fixed Income Investing Subgroup !!! This Thursday!!

Greetings!!!
We are finally ready to launch our highly requested AAII Atlanta Chapter Fixed Income subgroup!!! I realize this is short notice, but we hope you can join us this coming Thursday, October 27, at 7pm at the GSU Brookhaven facility (4362 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA). Plenty of free parking is available in the lot behind the building.
What topics and investments will we cover at the Fixed Income subgroup meetings? Most any investment that has a income component to it: dividend paying common stocks, preferred stocks, Real-Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs), closed-end funds (CEFs), Business Development Companies (BDCs), Unit Investment Trusts (UITs) and, of course, bonds (corporate (investment grade and junk bonds), municipal and sovereign). We'll review how each of these investments works, the risks and reward attributes and various tools/resources to research and select particular investments for your investment portfolio.

We will be raffling off two (2) copies of Josh Peter's (of Morningstar) book, "The Ultimate Dividend Playbook". We intend to raffle off other useful fixed income tools (books, newsletters, web services, etc.) at future meetings.
