This exciting full-day workshop is designed to help you develop and implement your own trading skills with our powerful educational tools and our new thinkorswim from TD AMERITRADE trading platform. This in-person event, led by experienced investment educators, will help give you the confidence and independence to execute better-informed trading decisions. During this session, you will learn how to:

* Recognize potential investment opportunities by utilizing our user-friendly set of tools, which combine fundamental and technical analysis with real-time data, an array of searches and proprietary charts
* Execute better-informed equities trade decisions using different order types to help increase potential profits and limit losses.
* Better manage risk with proper position sizing and by applying our four guidelines to your trades
* Explore the use of options* strategies such as covered calls and vertical spreads** to potentially improve returns and to help increase the probability of profit
* Apply the various strategies you've explored to the new thinkorswim from TD AMERITRADE trading platform

The workshop also features a free? hour-long preview of the fee-based educational offerings from Investools®, TD AMERITRADE's affiliate. We will explore the Investools Investor Toolbox® - an exclusive tool that explores fundamental and technical analysis while providing up-to-the-minute market data.

We are the local (Atlanta) chapter for the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) - one of 42 such chapter across the country. We hold monthly chapter meetings that host a variety of topics on personal financial planning, wealth building, and investing (see list of past speakers/topics below). Our mission is to educate and empower individual investors in their quest for achieving financial independence. To that end, we strive to bring compelling and accomplished speakers to present timely, relevant and actionable topics.
